Comment: I don't know that it removes pet stains any better than the regular formula. We have to clean our carpets 2-3 times before the stains are pretty much gone.

But like the other reviews say, it does smell pretty good.

Comment: I don't know how much better this pet formula detergent is than the regular carpet detergent, but it took out a lot of dirt in conjuction with the Hoover 5912.

Comment: Works amazingly, smells GREAT, easy to use, not too expensive. We have 4 cats and had a 5th and the (meant to be replaced over 5 years ago) carpets show the wear, tear and every sickness and party. This really does the job in terms of carpet renewal, stains and smells! I thought there was no hope, but this did it!

Comment: At 5 ounces per gallon, it takes about 1/2 gallon (64oz) to clean your house. This formula works great, and it's a good size for anyone who's planning on using their steam vac more than once.
